Step 1: Download and Install VirtualBox.

  • Visit to the website
  • Click on the download options on the left or if you are getting Download VirtualBox on screen then click on it
  • Select Windows Host.
  • Install the VirtualBox. Watch the video

Step 2: Download Windows 10 ISO File.

  • You can download ISO file from Microsoft website, but I have downloaded All in 1 ISO file.
  • Click Here to download the All in on ISO file.

Step 3: Create a New Virtual Machine.

  • After installing open VirtualBox.
  • Click on “New” to create a new virtual machine.
  • Enter the name you like for your virtual machine (e.g., Windows 10).
  • Select the folder location you want to save your VM Files.
  • Now select the ISO Image you have downloaded.
  • Select the Edition and click on “Next”.

Step 4: Unattended Guest OS Install Setup.

  • Type the Username you want to setup for your windows 10.
  • Enter the password or simply type 1 for now.
  • Make sure not to leave any space in hostname.
  • Click on “Next”.

Step 5: Configure Virtual Machine Settings.

  • Memory (RAM):
    • Allocate the amount of RAM (at least 2 GB, preferably 4 GB or more).
    • Now allocate the processor.
    • Click on “Next”.
  • Hard Disk:
    • In create a virtual hard disk now.
    • Set the size of the virtual hard disk (at least 20 GB, preferably 50 GB or more).

Step 6: Summary.

  • Check the Summary and click on finish.

Step 7: Start the Virtual Machine.

  • As you have click on “Finish” it will power up the virtual machine.
  • The Windows 10 setup will begin.

Step 8: Install Windows 10.

  • It will start Installing Windows 10 in VirtualBox.

Step 9: Complete the Installation.

  • The installation process will take some time.
  • The virtual machine will restart several times.

Step 10: Install VirtualBox Guest Additions.

  • Once Windows 10 is installed, go to the VirtualBox menu bar.
  • Click on “Devices” and select “Insert Guest Additions CD image“.
  • Click on File explorer icon and click on “this PC”.
  • You will get “CD Drive VirtualBox Guest Addition”.
  • Select the “VBoxWindowsAdditions” File and open it.
  • You will get the screen “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device”
  • Click on Next > Next > And install it.
  • Click on finish and it will Restart the virtual machine to apply the changes.
  • Now click on View and select “Scaled Mode”.
